What is the NICE programme?
VIRTUAL EXCHANGE, developing sought-after SKILLS AND AN OPPORTUNITY TO apply your knowledge to tackle a real-world global challenge
NICE stands for the Network for Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship. It offers students the opportunity to develop valuable intercultural and entrepreneurial skills by completing a virtual learning programme, developed by a consortium of eight European research-intensive universities.
What will I do on the programme?
On the NICE programme you will:
Work in a diverse virtual team with students from around Europe.
Complete interactive online modules focused on developing your intercultural competence and entrepreneurship.
Develop an innovative business idea in a team to solve a Global Challenge that you have chosen together.
Have the opportunity to attend a week-long physical summer school to continue building your skills.

Who can participate?
This programme is open to students who attend one of the following partner universities: University College Dublin, the University of Amsterdam, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Padova, and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Applications for the NICE programme are open to students with disabilities who may not be able to participate in other international experiences.
There are no fees to participate in the NICE programme.
